Hi there,
2 questions please:
1) Accumulation of wounds is not totally clear to me. Assume unit A is already Winged. It now receives a Struck result. Does it shift from Winged to Struck, or from Winged to Killed? The rule is clear for a Struck unit (whatever damage it receives, it becomes Killed). But not clear for Winged...
2) Melee seems to be a single action (as Ranged is). Can you confirm that it is possible to make 2 Melee attacks in one activation (assuming the units are already in base-to-base contact of course)? In which case, there would be one counter-attack (by the target) after each one of the two attacks (assuming the units have survived the onslaught).
Thank you for clarifying these 2 points for me. Great rules by the way. I've bought almost all of your production in this range (USEME).
Best regards from France. Theo.

Hello Theo,
Thank you for your message and interest in USEME.
1. The Winged becomes Struck, Struck to Killed. That is meant.
2. Yes. Melee is a single action. Already in Base to Base then melee, counter melee, melee.
Regards from Scotland.

Thank you Gavin for your confirmations. Just another one, if I may take advantage of your kindness...
In the case of Melee done twice in a single activation (as confirmed above), is there any modifier to the second attack (similarly to the -1 applied to the second shot in case of two ranged attacks in a single activation)? The rules don't mention any that I spotted. But I noticed that there is a penalty for a second move, a penalty for a second shot; therefore I wondered about a possible penalty for a second melee.
Again, thank you in advance and best regards, Theo.

My pleasure Theo. Yes a -1 should be applied in that case. A penalty for a second anything inside a turn is carried out.
Have a good weekend.

Again, thank you for clarifying. On a side note, I think you should add that explicitely in the rules, with something like: > Second move in single activation => 1/2 distance only > Second shot in single activation => -1 to To Hit Roll > Second melee in single activation => -1 to Penetration for Damage Roll.
Have a great weekend yourself. Best regards, Theo.

Hello Gavin,
Just for your information, I uploaded today a Batrep of an infantry battle using your rules (with a couple of personal variations). I uploaded that on Tabletop Skirmishers and on Cheap Wargaming, both on Facebook. The Battle Report is in written format, not video format. It includes a number of pictures illustrating the unfolding of events. Although I have models from such games as Kill Team, Deadzone, Necromunda, Project Z, Judge Dredd and a few others, I used paper models for the entire game: terrain, counters, units and unit cards were all hand-made, for the fun and because I love it. The post tahnked you explicitely for designing a great set of rules. I reiterate my thank you here. Have a good evening. Theo.

Hello Theo,
I see that over on Facebook, thank you. I admire your effort in making the report, it was a lot of fun to read.
That is most kind of you to say. USEME came about when I wanted to play wargame with my then 8 year old son.
